This 1949 GMC Flatbed Hauler was a labor of Blood Sweat and Tears. We transformed this ride from a grain truck that had been parked for over twenty years to what you see today in just a couple weeks to get ready for the 2008 Hot Rod Power Tour. We got it all done and had a blast and catching a lot of attention on the tour. This GMC features an LS Engine from a late mode GMC van and a 4L80E Transmission. It also has all the latest modern gadgets like Vintage Air, Power Steering and Brakes and is even a Flex Fuel E85 Vehicle holding 70 gallons of fuel with its twin tanks. We can cruise in comfort when traveling across America with its modern LS powered drivetrain. We built this GMC in our shop from the ground up with the exception of the seat covers and still drive it today.
